Don’t We Need More?

Many likes

It takes two to tango, but as a writer or an artist, don’t we need more?

It’s easy to think we do.

We live in a world that motivates us to acquire a multitude of followers, get tons of likes, and sell boatloads of books or art. That’s the business of art.

Does that give art its meaning? I don’t think so.

While I work hard to succeed, ultimately I want to connect with another human being—one reader at a time. I believe that the connection between artist and viewer is what gives art its meaning.
